Hello my name is Scott! I have a degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Chemical Engineering and during my time there, I tutored many students in General & Organic Chemistry. I helped students in both individual and group sessions, tailoring my tutoring style to each student to help them succeed. While most of my students were interested in getting help with homework, I had several students who specifically wanted help with test prep, lab reports, or concept review. Many of my students met with me regularly throughout the course and also over multiple semesters as they proceeded in their education. I enjoy breaking down problems step-by-step and taking a casual approach to learning to allow my students to feel comfortable.
