My name is Samantha Tilts. My undergraduate degree is in Health Sciences with a Minor in Psychology. During college, I played division one lacrosse and was a member of a sorority. In addition, I ran a community service program. I am a NYC Teaching Fellow earning my masters in middle childhood education (biology) at Brooklyn College. I have been teaching in New York for two years and have many years of tutoring experience in a Middle School and one summer in a High School. I run a robotics and biomimicry program and am also involved with the NY aquarium and the Billion Oyster Project. I believe in order to truly understand a subject, you need to learn to love it. Therefore, my goal is to make you enjoy science so you WANT to learn it!
