I have a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art from Davidson College and have over 8 years of extensive experience in art-making and as a professional in Graphic Design. I teach with an aspirational model of learning, growing the skillset in both technique and business practice to make art and design a viable option for the next steps. I provide fun and stimulating tutoring sessions which incorporate design must-knows, industry secrets and has my students' goals in the foreground. I have a broad understanding of art techniques in painting, drawing, illustration and digital art, as well as conceptual understanding of composition, elements of design and color. My mission is to help you achieve artistic success - whether that means producing a piece you're proud of for art class, making the best poster for science class, or preparing for a creative path ahead!
