Part of being good at something means you have either studied it extensively; you’ve experienced or passionately lived it, and you must undoubtedly care about it as if it’s a core value of yours. My personal experiences in education as a student of color, professional experiences as an educator, school leader, and facilitator in a diverse range of settings, and long-term goal as a higher education leader with roots and understandings in equity, diversity, and social justice, make me an exemplary candidate for tutoring students.
Who am I? A connector and relationship builder. An educator who has always been an advocate of our most marginalized and disenfranchised individuals. A visionary who is unwaveringly committed to ensuring our community has the access and opportunity to the world-class educational outcomes they deserve. It is for these reasons I feel compelled to work to support individuals through their own educational journey.
Education-wise: I have a master's degree from Harvard University in School Leadership. I had the great fortune of studying with some of the most inquisitive minds at the Harvard Business School, Kennedy School of Government, and the Graduate School of Education.
