I am a Stanford University graduate who is passionate about the value of education. My undergraduate major was Anthropology, but a I took a wide range of coursework in science, computer programming, the humanities, and foreign languages (French and Chinese). I graduated at the top of my class as a member of Phi Beta Kappa with a 4.19 GPA. I also was the valedictorian of my high school, Minneapolis South, with a GPA of 4.24.
I love learning, and I am excited to share my enthusiasm with students. My academic strengths are writing, editing, critical thinking, and test preparation (SAT, ACT, GRE). I also tutor students in French. After I graduated from high school, I spent a year in France, attending a French high school and living with a French family. During my junior year of college, I spent another six months in France at the Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Paris taking university-level courses in French.
I have substantial experience as a tutor and instructor, having helped others learn in various capacities for the past 20 years. Since 2012, I have worked as a full-time tutor empowering others to hone their academic skills and experience the joy that comes from confidence and knowledge.
