I most recently received a Masters degree from the University of Washington in 2015, where I majored in Middle East Studies. This was a culmination of study that incorporated languages, history courses and more. Beyond that I have experience working with students one on one, to aid with both understanding and skill (particularly writing skill). As a tutor, I tailor our tutoring sessions to your individual needs, and take a variety of approaches to improve comprehension but also to move towards greater mastery of whichever subject I happen to be helping you with. My goal over the course of our sessions is not only to help you with whatever is most pressing, (a paper or a test), but also to work towards growth where you will feel confident to write papers, or study for tests on your own.
