Hi, I'm Cassidy!
I have extensive experience working with young people in the classroom, one-on-one, in the non-profit arena, and through ministry. I also have experience collaborating with other educators.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in English Liberal Arts from Southern University and A&M College. My certifications cover 6th-12th grade ELAR and library media. Recently, I became Director of the LRCE Library and Membership Services for the Louisiana Resource Center for Educators. Previously, I was employed in the East Baton Rouge Parish School System as a school librarian. I taught as a secondary English teacher for three years before becoming a librarian. My qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Liberal Arts from Southern University and A&M College and a Master of Science degree in Library and Information Studies with a concentration in Leadership and Management from Florida State University. I am presently enrolled in the iteachLouisiana educational leadership certification program.
