About Carolyn

Hello my name is Carolyn Lankford, and I have a sincere passion for teaching and learning. Therefore as a teacher I use my energy and love for English and History to inspire students to enjoy the learning process as much as I do. I have enjoyed success in the area of English Language Arts and use creativity to engage the students I teach. I focus my tutoring to the following: reading, writing, English, and all areas of history and social studies.
I am a certified teacher specializing in English, reading and writing. I also hold a certification in the area of history and a masters in Special Education and can tutor these classes. I have been teaching for more than 15 years and have had success with the rigors of standardized testing, which include the Georgia Writing Test, Gateway testing as well as End of Course assessments which include the Georgia Milestone Assessment. I have a proven success record with students who received tutoring at least twice a week.
