I am a veteran middle school teacher with 26 years experience. I have a Bachelors degree in Middle School Education with primary concentration in math. I have a Masters degree in General Education. I have served as Math department chairperson in my previous and current school. I was nominated 'Teacher of the Year' at my current school. I am an inductee of 'Who's Who Among America's Teachers' and I am also an inductee of 'Who’s Who Among Executive and Professional Women in Teaching and Education'. I possess a unique teaching style in that I teach from a "common sense" approach in the endeavor to better reach my pupils and make learning math as easy as possible, which allows students to think critically to solve problems. This "common sense" approach also allows students to gain success as they learn much needed math skills.
