Dr. Dawn Piper is a Trinidadian Born American Citizen who began her journey as a writer at an early age due to her passion for reading. Her migration to the United States in 1989 was a tear jerker as she felt tears roll down her face while she sat in the lonely and cold leather seat of the American Airlines airplane. Seeking a better life, she convinced herself, one filled with opportunity and hope she solidified her goals to return one day to this Island that she loved with all her heart with all the education she could possibly obtain from the United States of America.
Dr. Piper is the Academic Affairs Administrator / Dean of Academics at Atlantis University, with 25 years’ experience in Administration, Management and Leadership in Education. Her education composes of a Doctor of Education from Argosy University in Phoenix Arizona, A Master of Science in Computer Engineering/Information Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Barry University in Miami Shores Florida.
