Hi! My name is Monica and I am an English as a Second Language Teacher. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and a Master's in Public Administration and Policy from California State University. I have been teaching English as a Second Language for the past 10 years, conversational Spanish as well as High School Spanish levels 1 & 2 for 4 years and Basic Statistics for 1 year emphasis on Social Behavioral Sciences.

I hold a Teaching English as a Foreign Language Certificate from the United States and have taught many working adult students with Business English and college students from around the globe obtain the scores needed in order to pursue their goal of being admitted to a University in an English speaking country.
I'm a fluent in Spanish, of Bolivian parents (but originally born in Brazil). I have passed the Spanish Advanced Placement (AP) while in school and have tutored many working adults with job interviewing, presentation and public speaking as well as high school and college students with their conversational, reading and writing skills.
More recently, I have been tutoring college students on Statistics 100 and 101 geared toward the Social Behavioral Sciences.
