From the Bachelor of Arts at UCLA and University of Phoenix Masters in Education, to success with RICA following the California teaching credential, I have a strong desire to make a continued contribution and positive impact in the successful education of our youth.
In full classroom settings and in small groups; equipped with my own lesson plans at times, as a substitute teacher and academic tutor for seven years, I am fortunate to have taught at all levels K through 12 in different school settings. Working as a behaviorist with children with autism brought to light for me early on just one example of the many reasons to adopt an academically differentiated agenda.
Much of my entrepreneurial fifteen-year background instilled in me a tenacious sense of accomplishment and a strong “can do” conviction. I am results-focused and highly motivated, yet empathic, patient, creative and resourceful.
Please permit me to offer that combined range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic and intelligent tutor for your child.
