Hi, there! I'm a flexible instructor with over ten years of teaching experience! I've volunteered at the Aquarium of the Pacific as a member of the Education team for ten years, tutored at the fifth grade level with Long Beach BLAST (Algebra and English), privately tutored high school students (AP English, Literature, and Marine Biology), coached CSULB's speech and debate team for two years, and have taught several Communications classes at East LA College, Chaffey College, and CSULB (Public Speaking, Intro to Communication Studies, Elements of Argumentation and Debate, and Interpersonal Communication).
My specialty is practical application: turning theoretical concepts into college and life success. I stress the importance of processing and understanding, rather than just giving you facts to regurgitate during an exam.
