Over the last twelve years, I have used my academic knowledge to work as a tutor for various employers. Because I’m flexible, I have the ability to work with all age groups in the academic field. In the past working as a tutor, working in child care and working at summer camp, I have had the opportunity to work with individuals from all ages. The youngest student I tutored was five and the eldest was sixty three years old. I have extensive experience in various academic fields. My strongest subjects are elementary subjects, all levels of French, all fields of science and mathematics up to calculus III.

As a tutor I would like to assist in the social development of students by helping them reach the full academic potential and goals. I truly believe education allows students to focus on what they want to purse and accomplish as they grow. As a role model I would like to help young people see the strong and self confident person they can become. I would like to aid in the improvement of their self esteem through academics, problem-conflict solution skills and self-empowerment. One of my greatest accomplishments to date as a tutor was when one of my students who I first started with came to me with a low grade and over the course of two years, ended up testing as one of the students in California with her high percentile test scores. I am passionate about encouraging and assisting students in achieving their academic goals.
