About Jessica

I have lived in Orange County, California for over ten years. A Midwest native, I came to California in 2002 to attend law school after graduating from Tufts University. I practiced law as a litigator for eight years at one of the top international law firms in the country. In addition to a ton of reading and writing, I also ran the training and mentorship workshops for new attorneys.

I realized that teaching and tutoring students is my real passion. So in 2014, I started my own private tutoring company. I also worked with two local test preparation and academic tutoring companies: AR Academics (Newport Beach) and Alpine Tutoring (Orange County). During this time I was able to focus on ACT/SAT/AP exam prep. My students so remarkable increases in their scores following our sessions.

I specialize in High School, College and Graduate student tutoring in all areas of reading, writing, grammar, study skills, literature and poetry. I'm also available to teach elementary math and science, and French levels I-III.

In my free time, I'm an avid paddle boarder and huge football fan!
