I am a recently retired high school science teacher with experience in teaching physics at all levels including AP1 and calculus based AP Physics C. In addition, I have excellent academic credentials including a PhD in Physics from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland and post doctoral research at Stanford. As such, I have a really good understanding what students need to learn and where they get hung up on conceptual problems. I really enjoy helping students to get over these conceptual blocks and make them successful. I also tutor math at all levels including algebra, precalculus and calculus.
