I have been tutoring various subject and grade levels since I was a high school student myself. While I attended UCSB as an undergraduate student majoring in European History, I also work was a TA for the Music Department, leading my own classes and discussion sessions. As a result of my extensive experience, I communicate knowledge and concepts in a fun and concise manner. My tutoring specialty is English, History, and Writing. I have a Bachelor's of Arts in European History/Asian American Studies and a Bachelor's of Arts in Music Theory and Composition from UCSB. I also received a full 800 point score on my SAT I Verbal and a 750 on SAT II Writing sections (Pre-2000 scoring). Also attended Honors and AP level English and History courses throughout high school (Arcadia High), as well as college-level English and History courses at local community colleges after school during my high school career. In college, majoring in History required me to write 100-200 pages per week in the form of essays, papers, editorials, etc. So, I have a lot of experience and PRACTICE over the past 20 years in English and History.
