I have been a special education teacher for students considered at-risk for school failure due to behavior issues, substance abuse or lack of interest in school for 14 years. I have taught mostly in residential school settings; juvenile corrections, specialized schools for Autism and other Developmental Disorders.

I can tutor all grade school levels of every subject. I have tutored ESL before as I am fluent in Spanish and can tutor in that. I have tutored for the Praxis examination as well and I currently take French at UTK so I may be able to tutor in that. I specialize in Mathematics and Physics.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Tennessee; I specialize in English composition, paper editing, test prep, child/developmental psychology, and sociology. As part of my coursework to obtain my degree I completed 4 years of Spanish, as well as volunteered at my community's local hispanic center assistant teaching English as a second language.

I am currently studying Psychology at the University of Tennessee. I have more experience in tutoring ages 6-16. I have experience in tutoring Math, Science, and English. I love making a session fun and inviting for those learning as it can make the process easier and enjoyable.
