I graduated with a Master of Science degree in Chemistry with an emphasis in Biochemistry from California State University, Los Angeles in 2010 with a GPA of 3.5. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry and Molecular Cell Biology with an emphasis in Genetics from the University of California, Berkeley in 2005. I hope to obtain a PhD in the near the future.

I majored in Applied Mathematics and minor in statistics. After graduating, I worked at a consulting firm that utilized intensive mathematical and statistical knowledge. I've also built strong foundation in STATA programming and am very good at employing local and global macros in STATA to speed up the completion of tasks and reduced redundancies in coding.

I am an Engineering student actively pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering. My experiences are in STEM related subjects and concepts; as well as social studies with an emphasis in elementary education. I am very passionate about Math and Science; however, I appreciate Arts and am well informed on a variety of academic subjects.

I am currently working in my Master's degree in Spanish literature and linguistics, I have taught and tutor in Spanish at CSULB for one year. My background is Chinese, but I was born and raised in Colombia. As a tutor/teacher, I make sure that my students are comfortable and are learning the material fully.
