Hi everyone! My name is Sarah, and I currently attend UCI as a Mathematics major. I have a background in tutoring children in underserved communities on the basics of journalistic writing, and I've also spent a year working one-on-one with 7th grade math students. I enjoy helping students gain confidence in their studies, and I believe that learning should be both enriching and fun.
I am current graduate student pursuing a MS in Mathematics. I have tutored numerous subjects in math throughout my undergrad career from Pre-Algebra to Calculus. Prior to pursuing my BS in math I was a Political Science major so I am also well versed in English. I believe that learning is a journey and it would be a privilege to take on that journey with any student.
I am a Multimedia Studies graduate but my passion lies in Education. I have a few years of experience working with students in different age groups. I believe a good education is achieved through persistence and willingness to work hard. I am available to help students find new ways to study and achieve their goals even when it seems impossible.
I am a recent high school graduate, class of 2021. I will hopefully be attending UCSC in the fall this year, majoring in Psychology or Anthropology. I don’t have a whole lot of tutoring experience but I know I can learn as you do. A little bit about me. I love to read and watch anime. I also am the parent to a bunch of succulents and cacti.
I’m an easy going, and fun person. I do have a habit of speaking a little fast sometimes, so if you ever need me to slow down at anytime, please feel free to let me know. I love reading, especially Harry Potter, and playing my Nintendo switch. I have too adorable cats, Toph, and Whisk, they love to drive me crazy.
As a passionate student myself, I am here to guide other students to success as well. Being the president of my high school’s National Honor Society allowed me to gain over 20 hours of tutoring experience, where I helped students get organized and see significant improvement on their homework grades.
