I have been a Social Studies teacher and tutor for the last 15 years. I have worked with AP students through self-contained learners and every student in between. I Specialize in Test Prep and Writing. I have had great success in increasing students scores on the Global Studies and US History Regents Exams, the US History and World History AP Exams, and the SAT II Subject Tests in US History and World History. I love history and can relate the material to all types of students. I also know the tests very well and can give students tips on what the tests are looking for. I also have worked with all different levels of Special Education students in study skills, reading/writing and life skills.
