Hola! Soy Veronica. Let me be your Spanish doctor for all of your Spanish ills! I received both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Spanish from UCLA, and my Ph.D. I completed (in Spanish and Latin American Literature/Studies) from Tulane University. After graduation, I worked at a number of private and public two and four year colleges, and I also taught AP Spanish to high school juniors and seniors who were permitted to enroll in freshman courses. A number of years ago, I returned to my native SoCal and took up a position as an adjunct professor in one of the leading community colleges, where I still am today. In addition to having taught all levels of Spanish (grammar, composition, conversation, civilization, film and literature), I have continued to tutor one-on-one to mostly high school and college students in the area. Many of these have improved substantially after having had sessions with me, of which I am very pleased. I hope that you will love learning Spanish with me as much as I love teaching it!
