Hi everyone,

My name is Adam. I grew up in the South Bay and went to Richardson Middle School, South Torrance High school, The University of California (UC) Santa Barbara for my undergraduate (Bachelor of Science Biology) and UC San Diego for a graduate program in Clinical Trials.

To be a tutor that actually makes a difference, having a passion for teaching isn't enough. An effective tutor has a passion for both teaching and learning themselves. I stay up to date and learn all of my students classes, assignments, what needs to be turned in and when. I teach my students to take charge of their schoolwork and become proud when they begin to succeed. Confidence and precision are two fundamental traits students should begin to learn in middle school and high school.

I have tutored students that have attended UC's, Ivy League schools, Community Colleges and State Schools. There are vast differences between all college types and I am here to prepare students for what comes next.
