I graduated with my masters in multicategorical special education for grade levels k-21 from St Xavier University in Chicago Illinois in 2015. Following my student teaching in a south suburban elementary school, I worked as a resource teacher for a Chicago Public School in a very low income neighborhood on the city's south side. I did this for the better half of two school years, but moved to California mid second year. I taught grades K-5 to students who required special education, mostly students with ADHD, emotional disturbance, autism, or cognitively impaired. Prior to that, I worked in a pediatric hospital as a respiratory therapist for 16 years. Since my move from Chicago, I have been privately tutoring students at the elementary and junior high school level, mostly home-schooled, some with special needs that may need ongoing support, some just need some extra practice on specific skills. I would love to provide your child the extra support they need to conquer their goal!
