I am currently completing my 4th year as a special education teacher. I work with students with special needs to increase their academic achievement along with creating an atmosphere that builds confidence in all aspects of their life. I have two Associate degrees and lots of experience in Early Childhood Education. I also have experience working with children with physical and learning disabilities. Over the course of my educational career, I have the most experience with preschool/kindergarten/elementary children. As a bonus, I also have an educational background in Criminal Justice, Funeral Service, and Business. My methods of teaching include finding ways to help my students learn in a fun and effective way.
I have an associates degree in science, and I have studied multiple semesters of criminal justice. Currently I am studying for a bachelors degree in psychology. I excel in English and literature mostly. One of my best strengths would probably be writing academic papers. Other areas that I find myself proficient include mathematics, science, and occasionally social studies.
I obtained my Bachelors degree in Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2022, and will be going for my Masters this fall. I'm new to tutoring, but I'm great at helping others and am willing to assist students achieve their goals!
