Since 2001 I have also tutored numerous students privately in all areas of math ranging from 7th grade basic math to Calculus 2 to standardized test preparation such as SAT Math, ACT Math/Science and GRE Quantitative. In addition to in-person tutoring, I have experience tutoring math online having worked as an online math tutor for Elani Learning from March-Dec 2019 where I tutored subjects such as Calculus 2, ACT Math/Science and SAT Math. During my seven years as a high school math teacher at two college preparatory schools, I taught a wide range of courses including Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Honors Geometry, College Algebra, and Calculus. I also recently worked as an Online Math Teacher for the Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth where I oversee students that are independently enrolled in Honors Algebra I & Honors Geometry.

At the University of Rochester, I earned a BS in Applied Mathematics and a BA in Economics & Physics with cum laude distinction (3.77 GPA). While there, I served as a Teaching Assistant for multiple math courses including Introductory Calculus & Differential Equations. I also scored an 800 (the old scoring system) on the GRE Quantitative (Math) exam.

Some of my recent results include:
*Improved a high school junior’s ACT Math & Science scores by 28(!) total points, Math 15 -> 24 & Science 10 -> 29
*Improved the grade of a 7th grade student taking 8th grade Honors Math from C level (Quarter 2) to A- level (Quarter 4)
*Improved a high school junior’s SAT Math score by 100 points, 540 -> 640
*Improved a high school sophomore’s ACT Math & Science scores by 7 total points, Math 19 -> 24 & Science 20 -> 22
*Improved a high school junior’s ACT Math & Science scores by 9 total points, Math 25 -> 28 & Science 21 -> 27
