I have been tutoring students in accounting and tax preparation for 8 years. Since 1996 I have owned and operated my own tax preparation and accounting services business.
In my experience most students actually understand the information. My job is to get them to recognize this and answer the questions they are assigned. I find adult students to be self motivated and want to learn the materials in a course.
