I have a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, and a minor in Business Administration from Washington State University. I was a math tutor at Pullman High School for 3 years while completing my degree. Additionally, I am currently attending Western Governors University to obtain my Master of Arts in Teaching, Mathematics Education (Secondary Education).
I am ready to tutor all different levels of mathematics. High school mathematics such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus (AP) are my specialties. However, I am also up for tutoring primary and middle school mathematics.
My goal for a tutor session is to make sure the student feels comfortable to ask questions at the start and feeling confident and ready to take on the next challenge by the end. Mathematics is my passion and I hope to instill this in all the students I tutor to reduce the negative stigma that surrounds the subject. I want to show students that math can be fun, exciting, and applicable to their lives! I am ready to help students learn and succeed in the amazing language of mathematics!
