I have been tutoring students for the SAT since I took it myself only 4 years ago, scoring a 2350.
I believe that it's better to learn test-taking strategies through one-on-one conversation. It is important to be able to find not just the correct answer, but the logic behind the question - the traps the author wanted you to fall into and how to avoid them. I approach standardized test tutoring from an engineers perspective: there are a few tools you need to be successful, and they aren't actually that hard to master. The tricky part is knowing when to use them.
