Hello everyone! My name is John and I am passionate about teaching problem solving. I really enjoy teaching subjects that blend computational and logical thought processes. In particular I love to teach math, physics, and computer science. I graduated with a degree in pure mathematics from the University of Washington but made sure to take as many applied courses as I could to keep my knowledge in the real world!
I pride myself in being a good communicator and am generally successful in understanding when a student is confused and when a particular concept needs to be rephrased or explained in a different manner.
