About Mac

I graduated with the highest GPA out of all of the Physics majors for my year, and nearly every elective I took was in pure Math, to the point that I was only one computer science class away from dual majoring in Math. I worked for my university's Math Center as an undergraduate, tutoring everything from introductory chemistry to advanced linear algebra and analysis, and I have tutored several students on my own in various subjects, as well. My main goal as a tutor is to put myself out of a job. What I mean is that I do not seek simply to help you with your homework or to be a study guide, but rather my goal is to teach you how to teach yourself. I want to give you the tools to be able to learn on your own with confidence so that you will no longer even need a tutor. I love teaching and working with people who want to learn. Helping someone get to the point where they no longer need help and can function on their own is the greatest reward I can receive as a tutor.
