I am originally from Miami, FL, where I worked as an instructor at Mathnasium. After coming out to Washington for an internship, I fell in love with waking up with mountains on either side of me, and decided to stay. I have since also worked in a Mathnasium here as the manager of the center. I love working with all students. Whether it be a student who lacks confidence, one who is struggling with a certain concept, or someone who wants to foster a love for math, and excels greatly at it. Helping students is my passion. I have a proven track record of helping students at all different levels to succeed, and look forward to doing so with you.
Having worked at Mathnasium, I have had daily experience with teaching in innovative ways to help students learn in their own unique method. Every student is different, and in order to help them truly succeed, it can take a special intuition in learning how students can best learn material. I have knowledge from not only the advanced math courses I've taken, but also of how to teach basic math skills to someone who is struggling from my past experience. My methodology has helped hundreds of students to succeed in the past.
I seek to make learning an enjoyable experience. Building confidence is my main objective, because once that is in place, everything else comes with much more ease.
