About Lara

Hello!

My name is Lara and I've been working with kids for over 10 years.
I began working with kids as a volunteer at local day camps, but over the years I have had many wonderful opportunities to diversify and strengthen my skills in the childcare field.

My experience in the field includes working as the lead teacher of a school-aged classroom at a daycare facility, as an educator at a before and after school program, and co-founding and mentoring at a homeschool co-op.

Through the years I have worn many different hats! In my position as Lead Teacher, I often created and taught my own curriculum to a school-age classroom on top of managing schedules and supervising outdoor play. I've also had plenty of experience assisting students confidently and accurately finish their homework. My favorite part of this career is connecting with students and giving them the tools they need to be successful. There's no better feeling than seeing a student you helped flourish.

I would love to be able to help make even more students and parents life just a little easier.
