I am a graduate from the Virginia Commonwealth University with a B. S. in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry. I am currently a research assistant at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.
Previously I have been a tutor in college for various subjects including: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Algebra, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus.
My teaching experience includes working for the Gains in the Education of Math and Science under the Science Education and Strategic Communications Dept. at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research. In this program I served as a lead mentor, working with teachers to teach biology for high school students in Prince George's County. During the summer, we ran a weekly science camp at the WRAIR where I served as a lead mentor for not only the students, but for the college interns who also helped teach students. Outside of the classroom I have experience working with students ages 3-18 as a swim coach.
