I have my Masters in Analytical Chemistry and have been tutoring students in chemistry, honors chemistry, AP chemistry, and freshman college chemistry. I prefer to tutor in-person, but I have done a lot of online tutoring lately and have figured out how to do that fairly effectively, too (though it's never as easy or as effective as in person!). I like solving puzzles and feel like chemistry is the perfect combination of math and science and real life application. I have now been in Fairfax County for two years and feel very aware of what is covered in the 10th grade chemistry course. With chemistry comes a fair amount of math, so I also feel competent in teaching math up to and through Algebra 1.
