Hello and thanks for viewing my profile. People who know me well characterize me as a lifelong student. I graduated with three undergraduate degrees in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Economics. During my professional career, I have continued my education by obtaining professional certifications (Project Management Professional and Certified Quality Engineer) and completing my MBA in 2014.
I balance a professional career as a Program Manager with the busy schedule of three active kids so I relate well with both children and adults.
Leading up to college, I obtained a perfect score on the SAT Math and a 5 on the AB Calculus Advanced Placement Exam. While I was obtaining my BA in Mathematics, I served as a tutor for my residence hall. More recently, I successfully helped a student complete Algebra I over the summer to avoid having to retake the class.
I also have a BA degree in Chemistry. Throughout high school and college, I tutored classmates and underclassmen through introductory chemistry, analytical chemistry, and organic chemistry, and physical chemistry.
At the University of Kansas, I was a teaching assistant in the Economics Department. I taught discussion sections for both Microeconomics and Macroeconomics on behalf of tenured professors.
I'm excited for the possibility of working with new students achieve their goals; whether that means getting caught up in a school subject, ace a standardized test, or prepare for math competitions.
