My passion in life is teaching. The best part for me is facilitating the student's awareness that he / she is a capable, confident and joyful learner. The student is an active player in setting and accomplishing tutoring goals.
I bring with me varied teaching experiences, as well as a rich career life as a CPA, litigation lawyer, and Corporate executive in Human Resources and anti-money laundering. I taught in a special education school and from preschool through grade 7. My tutoring students' ages have ranged from 9 to 50+ years old. I also taught law and accounting courses at the college level. Finally, over half my life has been dedicated to community service, which gives me yet another experiential base to guide my tutoring..
Tutoring is a matter of the heart. And yes, I can guide the student through study practices, disciplines and skills to make her / his educational experience more productive.
