When I was in high school, I realized that I really love to teach. Simply passing on knowledge to another peer feels absolutely amazing because it shows that you really know the information. I am hoping that I will be able to get you to that point after helping you learn the material. I graduated as the valedictorian of my high school and received admissions to many prestigious schools around the country, but due to financial reasons I decided to attend a school where I could support myself. I was working full-time while taking 2-3 times the course load of a normal student. From this, I have mastered the art of time management and still spend a huge chunk of my spare time tutoring other students ranging from high school all the way up to my fellow collegiate peers.
I graduated with honors from the University of California, Berkeley in 2017 with three degrees in Molecular Cell Biology (Genetics Emphasis), Public Health, and French and a minor in Molecular Toxicology.
I have over 1000 hours of tutoring and teaching experience, and am comfortable with Math, Physics, Chemistry, Writing, English, French, ACT, and SAT. My only policy is that you do not simply ask me for the answer, but rather help me help you through questions. A big part of your college career is that you find yourself not being able to ask the right questions to guide you to the answer, and I want to be here to help you learn that skill. I will help walk you through all the steps of the problem and clarify the theory along the way so that you can gain mastery of the material. However, if you are simply asking for someone who will give you a quick answer without a thorough explanation, please seek another tutor. It is for this reason that I never want to bill a student or parent that is not satisfied with my tutoring.
I have a 24-hour cancellation policy, but often times will be flexible enough to reschedule right away.
I can tutor ACT Math, ACT English, ACT Reading, ACT Writing, ACT Science, SAT Math, SAT Writing, Algebra 2, Algebra 1, Biostatistics, Statistics, AP Statistics, AP Physics, AP Chemistry, AP Calculus BC/AB, Introduction to College Calculus, Probability, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Biophysical Chemistry, Introduction to College Physics, and Introduction to College Chemistry. I also have extensive experience with college admissions guidance and organization & study skills.
I look forward to hearing from you and helping you master the topics you are studying!
