I attack everything with 100% effort. I know the meaning of hard work, and I have learned how to overcome challenges in my own personal and academic life. While I was a single parent of 2 adopted special needs children, I achieved a 3.53 GPA with my AAS in Human Services and a 3.93 cumulative GPA with my BS in Business. In 2020, I graduated with my Master of Education in TESO L at Sam Houston State University with a 4.0 GPA. In the past, I have worked as a substitute as well as opened and solely operated it my own in home daycare.
Since I was a child, I have always had a desire for helping others in any way that I was able to. As a result, I have tutored and taught English on all levels. In 2012, I begin tutoring ESL college students and adults. In 2015 I created an ELL meet up group to help students and their families learn English. Interacting with different cultures and individuals always brings me joy and a sense of accomplishment when I can help them. I take my passion for learning and work at instilling that same drive in my students.
