I go by Sarah and I am a seasoned as well as long-term tutor! I have a degree in Chemical Engineering with an associates degree in Chemistry, Health and Mathematics so I specialize in teaching STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) courses of any level and subject, also including standardized such as: SAT, TOEFL, GRE, GED, STAAR, and GMAT.
I understand that often times students can be overwhelmed by subjects that they have trouble grasping, causing them to shut off mentally and be intimidated by the information. I specialize in simplifying hard concepts for students and showing them how capable they are to solve the problems. I don't just teach the student what to do, I focus on empowering the student in feeling comfortable with doing the work when I'm not around.
I love making a difference in my community, shaping students mind in positive ways! I love to tutor because it is always different dynamic and each student has their specific needs. I like to help target those addressed needs by enhancing and improving weak points and strengthening a student's learning experience overall!
