I am a career test prep tutor who got a perfect score on my SAT as a junior in high school, became a National Merit Scholar, and was awarded a full scholarship to Rice University (B.A. in History, 2009). From 2007-2016, I worked with The Princeton Review and rose through the ranks to become its Houston Area Teacher Trainer, as well as its highest-level ("Premiere") tutor.
The Princeton Review charged $299 per hour for my time as its "Premiere" tutor but paid me much less than that. I cut out the middleman to offer my time for under $150 an hour. This includes my travel to you (home/office/library) in Houston or Sugarland.
The differences between me and other tutors:
This has been my ONLY career (full-time) for over a decade
I scored a perfect SAT in high school and was a National Merit Scholar
I've taught SAT/ACT workshops at over 30 Houston-area schools
I've developed curriculum for The Princeton Review at the national level
I've spent over 7500 hours tutoring specifically for these standardized tests
Other tutors may charge less, but my years of experience focusing exclusively on these tests means that I can use our time much more efficiently than other tutors. I will get you a bigger improvement in less time. Period.
The ISEE is your key to top prep schools, and the SAT/ACT is the single biggest factor in college admissions besides GPA, so don't settle for anything less than the best help you can find! I will help you reach your true scoring potential without wasting your time. Please contact me today, and we can set up a preliminary (free) meeting to discuss how to best achieve your testing goals!
