Raphael Dzanie was born in Accra-Ghana, a small country whose land mass is approximately the combined size of Mississippi and Louisiana. He graduated from the University for Development Studies with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with Economics. Upon completing the program, he worked as a Mathematics Tutor for one of the high schools in Ghana. He tutored high school classes in various college level mathematics –Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Coordinate Geometry, Statistics etc. Raphael makes teaching of the subject fun and engaging. In August 2014, he relocated to the US for his graduate studies. Raphael holds an MS in Economic Development from the University of Southern Mississippi. Prior to completing his master’s program, he worked for the City of San Antonio Economic Development Department.
Raphael is currently enrolled in doctoral program in public policy and political economy at the University of Texas at Dallas. In his free time, Raphael loves to read novels and watch documentaries.
