About Jing

Hi I am Jing. I love economics and enjoy teaching and sharing my knowledge and insights in economics. I got my Ph.D. degree in Economics from the University of Texas at Dallas. I have over ten years experience teaching economics courses at various universities. The courses I have taught include Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, Urban economics, International Economics, Basic Techniques for Economic Research, etc..

Most of my students like my teaching because, first, I am passionate in teaching economics, second, I explain complicated and abstract economic concepts in a simple, clear way with rich real world intuitions and applications, third, I use proper questions to guide students step by step to the precise understanding of the economic principles, fourth, I pay much attention to help students to build the fragmented knowledge points into an integrated system so that students know where they are and where to go instead of being confused and lost frequently .

With that being said, I am looking forward to the opportunity to work with you!
