Upon completion of bachelor's degree, I was offered a position at my alma mater to teach undergraduate courses. It was teaching these courses that I developed a deep passion to tutor young minds and help them navigate all areas of Math and Computer Science. Focusing on algorithms and C language, I was able to see my students gain a deep understanding and confidence in the coursework, which solidified my passion for instruction. During my time as an lecturer, I taught numerous undergraduate courses which included Discrete Maths, Computer Algorithms, Java, and C++. To further polish my education, I moved to Dallas, Texas to join The University of Texas at Arlington. I graduated with my Master’s Degree in Computer Science in 2015.
After graduating, I moved to beautiful Redwood City and worked at Informatica as a Software Engineer, in addition to helping students with their various Math and CS courses. Later on, I joined networking champion, Cisco Systems, where I lead a team of engineers to develop highly complex software applications. I strongly believe that, with a little dedication and help, students can master the challenging Math and CS content. My goal is to empower students to meet their academic challenges. I love helping students feel motivated when taking a test and to feel confident when applying their mathematical concepts and skills. I strongly believe that it’s crucial to explain how and why concepts work, rather than just teaching the facts. Understanding how these processes and languages work thoroughly can help students learn to love Math and Computer Science!
