About Sierra

I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from American Public University, an online college. I have previous experience tutoring students ranging from preschool age to college. During this pandemic, I have helped ensure my former classmates and several younger students received any academic help needed to stay ahead in their current courses. I specialize in English or writing courses in any grade, from grade school up to college level writing. I can also tutor in any History, Biology, Zoology and elementary or common core Math courses up to High School levels. I also speicalize in Spanish courses up to High School and was the only one to pass the Spanich V AP test in my district in 2015. I can offer ACT, SAT, and PSAT help in many different areas these tests cover. In what has been a challenging time for everyone, I have decided to give back and help students in any way possible utilizing the academic skills I have acquired over the years. My mission is to help students achieve their academic goals, reduce homework stress or test anxiety, find what learning strategies work best for every individual, and encourage students to become confident in their abilities no matter the assignment or course subject.
