About Hope

I am a single mother of 3 amazing children and very motivated to build the future for them. Upon completion of my second masters degree, I aim to continue onto a Doctorates in Counseling focused in Trauma.

For medication, in 2010, from Grantham University, I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Homeland Security, GPA of 3.78 Magna Cum Laude. In 2017, from Texas A&M University-Central Texas, I obtained my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, GPA of 3.73. March 2017 I received my Licensed Professional Counselor Intern, License from the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors. I am currently working on my second graduate degree in Business Management and Leadership at Texas A&M University-Central Texas.

I am a United States Air Force Veteran with 6 years of service, rank SSGT E-5, focused in weather forecasting and space weather forecasting for mission essential flights. I was a police officer for 6 years where I received Academic Achievement upon graduating from police academy.

I am currently the Vice-President and Director of Counseling of a nonprofit which assists Veterans in mental health crisis. I understand marketing a business, setting standards, filing a 501(c)(3) online, management ethics, and public speaking as I have done interviews with news media and presented to groups.

I am a licensed Counseling-Intern in Texas. I use this to help Veterans with Counseling through my nonprofit. My mental health counseling experience can be applied with building confidence in students. There are areas of psychology where my knowledge would be beneficial. My ability to guide students through decisions in an array of areas helps with identifying a path the student is happy with.

I, also, currently tutor online for reading and writing for grades starting in Elementary ranging into College.

I am very proficient in paper writing and research. I enjoy building students confidence with writing and understanding class material. I am known to research topics students present to me I am not familiar with in order to provide them the best assistance possible. I am able to communicate on many levels and am very person-centered when tutoring.
