I am currently at UTD studying Neuroscience and am in the process of getting a teaching certificate. I have prior experience as an assistant teacher to grades K-8th. I have a passion for learning as well as teaching; I think learning comes from interactivity and fun, my teaching style is more discussion based and I encourage curiosity and the asking of questions. I think learning curriculum concepts and the foundations of a topic is imperative and should be the number 1 goal. If mastery of a concept is achieved, the grades come with it.
