About Dashelle

I have a BA in French and Education studies from Bowdoin College, and an MA in International Education from NYU. I have a passion for language and education, and have always worked in settings that combine the two. I have learned and spoken French since the age of 5, studied in Paris all of my junior year in college, given private French lessons, and will begin teaching middle school French this fall.

I am also fluent in Spanish, and have worked in many bilingual classrooms and with Spanish speaking immigrant adults. I have spoken Spanish everyday in almost every job I have had since graduating college. I will also be teaching middle school Spanish this fall.

As a, tutor I strive to understand my students' goals and how they learn best, so I can tailor lessons and activities to their needs and preferences. I want my students to be relaxed, meet their goals, and have fun!
