Teaching, tutoring, working with students and their families is my passion and I have many years of experience in the field of education. My first tutoring job began at 16 years old at a Kumon Franchise, where I tutored elementary kids in math and reading, according to the Kumon curriculum. In high school and college, I assisted my peers in homework help and test prep, and joined tutoring companies and elementary schools to work as an academic consultant. I've worked on test prep intervention teams for at risk students and have taught kindergarten, 3rd grade and 5th grade for public charter school systems.

Although my bachelors focused on Pre-k to 8th grade curriculum and instruction, I have worked with many middle and high school students, facilitating learning, teaching students how to get organized, test prep for ISEE, SAT, HSPT, Stanford 9, and the STAAR test, writing essays and research papers, and lots of homework help.

I love reading, language arts and the verbals sections on tests, but I can also teach math, science, social studies, pyschology, government, art history, and a few more subjects.

I'm an awesome teacher passionate about instruction and curriculum for K-12 students. My students love brain training, tutoring, and all the hands-on learning we get to engage in. I've worked in the field of education for over 16 years, and plan to have a lifetime of more teaching, learning and expansion and growth!
