I have had a partnership with classroom teachers to create lesson plans based on specific, educational standards required for various core subject areas. Independently interpretation and presentation of lesson plans for Substitute teaching in the absence of the assigned classroom teacher. Classroom management includes but not limited to organizing, lesson presentation, and behavior management while providing a positive and safe learning environment for children ages 3-18. Conferences with school administrators and counselors as necessary to support the learning experiences of students. Assist special education teachers and/or therapists in teaching children with emotional and behavior disorders, intellectual disabilities, problems with communication, or physical disabilities.
